Common Questions about the Game
How many cards are included and what comes in the box?
Each box contains a standard deck of 100 high-quality cards and a set of instructions. Because we’ve designed multiple ways to play, that single deck offers hours of replayability for your family or church group.
Which Bible version is used for the clues?
The clues are designed to be “version-neutral.” Whatever your family uses, you will be able to arrive at the correct answer without confusion.
I’m not a Bible scholar—will I find this game too difficult?
Not at all! We intentionally designed The First Letter to be a learning tool in addition to a game. We offer a “Collaborative Mode” to play as a team, and the “Learning Loop” allows you to reuse cards in the same session to help with memorization!
How long does a typical game take to play?
A quick session with a small group can take as little as 5–10 minutes. For larger groups or Sunday School classes, a full game usually lasts about 30 minutes. It depends both on the ruleset chosen and on the number of players.
